What Can You See?

Funny question, right?

But your answer to this simple question can determine how far you go in life.

So, I’ll ask again:

What are you seeing?

Are you seeing challenges or are you seeing opportunities?

Are you seeing an angry boss who frustrates you or are you seeing a strict and focused leader who is pushing you toward excellence?

Are you seeing a spouse who seems a little disrespectful or are you seeing someone who is strong, capable and ready to stand up for your family when you’re no longer around?

Are you seeing children who are difficult and rebellious or are you seeing young minds crying out for love, understanding and a fresh perspective?

What you see matters.

What you see shapes your perspective.

It determines the distance you’re willing to go, the strategy you’ll apply, and the attitude you’ll carry.

It can ultimately decide your success or failure.

Take the story of two salesmen sent to survey a new market in a foreign country.

Both saw the same situation, but their perspectives were completely different:

One saw people who didn’t wear shoes and thought, “This is hopeless. They don’t need what we sell.”

The other saw the same people and thought, “This is an untapped market. Everyone needs our shoes!”

Their outlook determined their approach and likely their results.

So I ask you again:

What do you see?

What you see isn’t just about your physical eyes; it’s about your mindset, your faith and your attitude.

Your vision shapes your decisions, actions and ultimately your outcomes.

The evidence of your sight, your perspective, is the foundation of what you can achieve.

Choose wisely what you see, because it will shape your reality.
